RETAIL DEALER REQUIREMENTS
COMMAND Gear only sells at wholesale dealers to licensed retailers and dealers. We do not sell to the general public or government agencies.
To apply for a COMMAND Gear Retail account, a dealer must sign and return the COMMAND Gear Retail Dealer Application and provide all tax exemption forms regardless if the dealer requests an open account. The dealer acknowledges that providing a current state exemption form alone does not constitute qualification as a COMMAND Gear Dealer.
In addition, the dealer must keep all applicable state and federal licenses, sales tax exemptions, etc. up to date in order to maintain status as a COMMAND Gear dealer. COMMAND Gear reserves the right to demand and verify any licenses or permits per COMMAND Gear's discretion. Further, the dealer acknowledges responsibility for notifying COMMAND Gear of any changes to address, ownership (including any change in business structure) or state and/or local status as soon as such changes become effective. All orders are subject to the approval and acceptance of COMMAND Gear and will only become a binding contract upon final acceptance at any COMMAND warehouse.
READ CAREFULLY ALL CONDITIONS SET FORTH BELOW
Federal law prohibits the shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions:
- To civilian or Armed Forces supply and procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government.
- To supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard or militia of a state. Territory of the District of Columbia ordering, procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with activities of such organization.
- To supply or procure officers or employees of the municipal government, the District of Columbia or the government of any state or territory or any county, city or other political subdivision of a state or territory.
- To manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in previous points 1, 2 and 3.
NOTE: Available for sale to ARMED FORCES, LAW ENFORCEMENT or Government personnel. Please check permissibility within your state or locality. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession and use of any item purchased from COMMAND Gear. All equipment is sold subject to any local, state or federal ordinances. Absolutely no sales can be made to minors. By placing an order, the Dealer represents that the products ordered would be resold/used in a lawful manner and that he/she is of legal age. COMMAND Gear will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us or any of our distributors or dealers. Also, since no product is 100% effective against attack, COMMAND Gear assumes no responsibility if a product purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death.
By signing and submitting the COMMAND Gear Dealer Application and by placing orders with acceptance of shipment of a product from COMMAND Gear, the COMMAND Gear Dealer acknowledges that it accepts and further agrees to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions and all Terms and Conditions stated on invoices shipped with any product. Pursuant to the aforementioned, COMMAND Gear reserves the right to terminate its business relationship with any retailer that fails to comply with any of the foregoing conditions.

Credit Terms
Open accounts will be established for qualified accounts. Open account terms are Net 30 days. A finance charge of 2% (24% annual rate) per month or the maximum allowed rate under applicable state law will be added to amounts which are past due. C.O.D. terms are payable by check upon delivery. Prepay terms are available by cashier's check or money order.
Returned Checks
There is a $4.50 service charge on all checks returned the first time due to insufficient funds. All checks will be automatically re-deposited. Checks returned a second time will be charged $65.00 and the amount of the check.

All prices are subject to prices prevailing at the time of order placement and are subject to change without notice.
Shipping Policy
Shipping Information
We ship primarily by UPS Ground and when doing so abide by their regulations. We reserve the right, however, to ship orders via an alternate source in the event of a disruption to normal ground shipping options such as a strike, fuel crisis, act of terrorism, etc. COMMAND Gear reserves the right to recover our full shipping costs. All shipments will be Freight Prepaid. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii can be shipped via UPS to the retail dealer's freight forwarded. If preferred, UPS Overnight or UPS 2-day shipping methods are available F.O.B. our distributions centers. The dealer will pay for all charges.
Distribution Pick-Up Service
Our sales offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST for on-site order pick up.
Returns Policy
Returns
COMMAND is dedicated to serving our dealers better than any competitor. However, we cannot accept returns without questions or limitations. Thank you for honoring the following return policies so that we can continue to offer the best products at the lowest prices.
Most items sold by COMMAND Gear can be returned for credit within 20 days of the original ship date.
To ensure prompt and accurate credit on returned merchandise, please follow these guidelines:
- A Return Authorization Number must be obtained prior to returning the item. Please contact our Customer Service Department to obtain this number, which will be valid for 30 days.
- A Return Authorization Number must be clearly indicated on the outside of each return package. Any shipment received without this indication will be refused upon delivery.
- Credit will be issued on errors clearly the fault of COMMAND Gear that have been requested within 20 days of receipt of merchandise.
- Merchandise returned for reasons other than COMMAND Gear error will be subject to a restocking fee of $4.95 USD per item or 15% of the item value – whichever is great.
- COMMAND Gear has no obligation to provide credit for returns unless the merchandise is in the original carton and condition (includes: packaging, manuals, warranties, accessories, security seals, etc.). We cannot accept returns with retail price tags.
- The original vendor box should be packed in durable shipping box with proper packing materials to protect the merchandise. We suggest all returns be sent by a traceable carrier. You must pay all costs related to return shipping.
- Returns will not be accepted freight collect or C.O.D. COMMAND Gear has no obligation to provide credit charges.
- Defective merchandise should be returned directly to the manufacturer and COMMAND Gear has no obligation to provide credit for defective merchandise.
COMMAND Gear cannot accept returns of certain items, including:
- Factory closeouts, special orders, under-garments, body armor panels or carriers and other products as noted on product sales literature.
- No partial case pack items will be accepted. If you return a case pack item, it must be returned in the original shipping pack with all individual items unopened.
Damaged Shipments and Shortages
All merchandise becomes the property of the purchaser once the carrier accepts and signs for the shipment. If you receive a damaged or short shipment, please note this on the Freight Delivery Record if evident at the time of receipt. Also notify the shipping carrier and our Customer Service Department immediately.
NOTE: Before the carrier will process a claim, its representative may need to inspect the merchandise and shipping carton. Do not discard or destroy any cartons.
Defective Merchandise
ALL DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE MANUFACTURER
COMMAND Gear does not repair or make adjustments on used merchandise. The time must be returned to the manufacturer or authorized service center for repair or replacement. Merchandise that is found to be defective within ten (10) days of receipt by the dealer will be replaced at no charge. Any damage found defective after use is subject to the manufacturer's factory warranty and should be returned to the manufacturer.
Refused Shipments
Unless instructed otherwise, do not refuse shipments from COMMAND Gear as this will result in an unnecessary freight and handling charge. Please accept shipments and call our Customer Service Department for assistance. Customers who refuse shipments will only be sold on prepayment terms. In addition, actual freight costs to and from the shipping point as well as a 15% restocking fee will be charged to the dealer. All charges must be paid in full before any additional orders can be placed and shipped.
Warranties
COMMAND Gear does not offer any warranties or guarantees, expressed or limited, other than those supplied by the manufacturers of the products which we offer for resale.

We realize that your information may be considered sensitive in nature and understand the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by those who complete our questionnaire. COMMAND Gear may collect some personally identifiable information about you while you are visiting this website. Such information would include your name, telephone number, e-mail address, or professional data. We use this information to help maintain accurate records, answer inquiries, promote efficiencies within our company and to help make our website useful to you. COMMAND Gear will not share this information with outside agencies and uses reasonable precautions to ensure the security of personal information that you have disclosed to us.

Customer Account, Password & Security
If a particular COMMAND Gear Web Site, or any product or service offered on any COMMAND Gear Web Site (each a "COMMAND Gear Site/Service", and collectively "COMMAND Gear Sites/Services") requires you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify COMMAND Gear immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. COMMAND Gear will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. COMMAND Gear may also terminate or suspend your access to COMMAND GEAR Site/Service(s) for inactivity, which is defined as failing to log into a particular service for an extended period of time, as determined by COMMAND Gear.
